How the Lotus Lantern App collects, uses, and protects your personal information

Welcome to our product and services. We fully understand the importance of your personal information, and your trust matters greatly to us. We will strictly comply with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations and take appropriate security measures to keep your personal information safe and under your control. With this in mind, the service provider has prepared this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") to help you understand how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our product and services, and how you can manage your personal information so that you can make informed choices.

User-related personal data (including location information, storage read/write permissions, and microphone capture) is stored locally on your device solely for the purpose of providing functionality. We will not upload such personal data to any server or share it with any third party.

You can manage the permissions granted to this product by going to Settings → Permission Management → Lotus Lantern on your device, where you can withdraw consent or change its scope.
Please understand that these permissions are only used to enable specific features. Withdrawing them may result in those features being unavailable or not working as expected.
To ensure proper functionality and safe, stable operation of the App, we may request or use relevant operating system permissions.
To enable product functionality and provide better service, we automatically collect certain information when you interact with our product. This helps us maintain normal service operation, improve and optimize the service experience, count users, analyze engagement, and serve you better. We automatically collect mobile device information, including device identifiers (IMEI, IDFA, Android ID, MAC, OAID, IMSI, and other related device information). The exact information collected varies by device, system (Android / iOS), and system version, and is subject to what is actually collected. If you do not agree to this collection, you may be unable to properly control the light strip device. Please note that to ensure you can continue to control the device, we may re-read this information whenever the Lotus Lantern app is moved to the background or restarted; we will keep this read frequency within a reasonable range.
To enable product functionality and provide better service, we may collect data from your accelerometer sensor (SensorManager), primarily for the shake-to-change feature, which switches to a random color based on shake-speed thresholds. We will not share your accelerometer data with any third party unless we have your explicit consent or are required to do so by applicable law.
To safeguard your right to know, the table below lists the operating system permissions the product may request or use, so that you can manage them as needed.
As the product evolves, the types and purposes of permissions requested may change. We will update the list promptly so that you are kept informed of how permissions are requested and used.
Please note that, for business, functionality, and security needs, we may also use third-party SDKs, and those third parties may likewise request or use relevant operating system permissions.
